BRRRRRRRRR BOP BOP BOP ... Or some thing like that, is the mating call of the increasingly lesser spotted Bilkhu. A man who once had the game at his feet with pace, enthusiasm, determination and talent ... all lost to a life of debauchery, alcohol and loose women. Judging by his recent e-mail to me saying "I'll be at training soon" Bilkhu is also planning a career in stand up comedy!
Two succesive promotions meant the 4ths were flying ... and then the Old Man joined them and it's been downhill since! Notoriously bad starters to a season, the last two years have been an uphill struggle, culminating in relegation last season. Playing 60 odd players in a season never helps and will be looking for a vast improvement and some stability this year. The introduction of a few old heads should hopefully kick start things.
